The product management tool allows you to create an inventory of gift items to use on Premium donation pages or Ecommerce sites. To use this tool in page-builder you will first need to set up the component under Pages > Components > Product Management.
Alerts are the messages that appear on-screen or inline when your supporter leaves a required field blank or makes other errors when submitting a form (e.g. minimum gift amount or email address format). This document provides instructions on creating and managing these alerts.
Templates are the HTML wrapper for your pages. In addition to design and branding elements, templates can also contain references to external style sheets and any HTML code to manage web analytics or other customizations.
To view your templates, and to edit and create new ones, go to Pages > Components > Templates.
Editing templates
In the template screen you'll see a list of your current templates. Simply click the pencil icon next to a template to edit it.
Web pages are the landing pages that your supporter is directed to upon certain actions or conditions. For example, when a supporter subscribes to an email list from a thank you email, they are directed to an opt-in web page. Web pages maintain the look and feel of your campaign pages by sharing the existing templates in your account.
You can access web pages by going to Pages > Components > Web pages.
Validators can be applied to individual form fields to allow your supports to supply responses that conform to your data requirements. These validators can then be applied to any field you present to your supporters, on any form. The error alert specified in the validator will be displayed automatically once the supporter leaves the field and has entered a value that does not conform to the specific format.
Every page-builder page requires a template which forms the top and bottom of the HTML document of the campaign page. The dynamic part that you use page-builder’s editor to build is sandwiched in between this header and footer.
Using our Highest Previous Contribution 'HPC' calculations you can offer your donors a dynamic display of 'Next Suggested Gifts" ranges on the donation page. To use this tool in page-builder you will first need to set up the component under Pages > Components > Next Suggested Gift.
Conditional Content is a powerful tool if you want to use a single page to display different content to different supporters when they click on email links. For example you could:
page-builder allows you to insert dynamic tags into Text Blocks, your HTML template or JavaScript that will pull in relevant value from that page. This can be useful for SEO, Meta Data, and so on.
